The ballet of the City of Moscow will present this great work on March 7 at the Triana Theatre.

Alexei Ratmansky, artistic ex-director of the Bolshoi Ballet, choreographs the premiere of his new production together with the romantic and cinematographic score of Sergei Prokofiev. With this ballet they revive the history of the most famous lovers of this great novel by Shakespeare.

It is a ballet in two acts of the work of William Shakespeare, which is one of the best known works of world literature. The love and drama of Shakespeare's masterpiece inspired Prokofiev to compose one of his best compositions.

In 1934, the Kirov Ballet of St. Petersburg hired Prokofiev to compose music for the ballet. It was first presented by Kirov Ballet in 1940, danced by Galina Ulanova and Constantin Sergeiev, the most famous dance couple at that time.

Now this work will be presented by 40 dancers of the Moscow City Ballet on the stage of the Triana Theatre in Seville on 07th of March, with beautiful costumes on the music of Sergei Prokofiev. The show will begin at 6:00 p.m., with the opening of doors half an hour before. Tickets are priced at 30 euros per person and can be purchased on the website.

This production of the Moscow State Ballet brings together and transmits all the emotion of impossible love, violence and death of the original text of Shakespeare.
